Pet portraits are such a special way to commemorate your best friend and commissioning your own pastel artwork couldn't be easier! As a professional artist for many years now, I pride myself in being about to capture animals life and personality.
I work from photographs, even if it's an old one so meeting your pet is not needed. All I require is a £100 deposit to secure your booking. Then when you are ready you can send me as little or as many photos as you wish - if you need guidance on this then i'm at hand! Equally if you need help choosing a size please don't hesitate to ask.

The medium I work in creates a lovely soft appearance and a beautiful richness which is hard to get with other mediums. The paper I use is available in a wide range of colours, which you can either choose to complement your pet or your home (again I can advise on this), equally if you would like a background please do let me know. I will send you a progress picture along the way so you will be able to watch your pet come to life.

If you are gifting your portrait to a loved one, and need it completed for a specific date, please contact me to find out if I can work to your time frame. I always do my best to accommodate where possible. My waiting list does vary during the course of the year though, so please get in contact to find out my current availability.

My prices are below for you. I ship worldwide so for a bespoke postage quote or if you need to convert to your currency please click here. The portraits come unmounted and unframed. Please note 'double head' means two heads in one portrait. Any additional heads on top of two is £160 per head.

Postage to anywhere in the UK is £12, your parcel will be delivered using Royal Mail Recorded. For anywhere else in the world your parcel will be sent tracked, please contact me for an individual shipping quote.
Reference photo information.
I can work from any images, whether they are old or just taken on a phone - they don't have to be super high resolution. If you are like me and your phone is filled to the brim with hundreds of photos, it can be so tricky to just pick a few. favourites. I'm always happy for you to send through a bunch and I can advise on what will work best. If you have a specific pose in mind then please do let me know. I can also use elements of one photo to add to another. For example if you like the pose in one image, but want the colouring in another I can absolutely do that for you!

Opposite is an example of a pose that works really well - taken on the same level as the dog (so not from above or below). This is just a guide, so happy to take guidance from you as the client on what you would prefer pose wise. Equally if you only have old photos I can use artistic licence to create a better pose for you.
